I'm Writing a book of short stories

Posted by deadspread83 - March 5th, 2014

So far I have about 78 pages worth. I am also illustrating each story with a single panel. My goal is to write a bunch of short stories that someone can read entirely on their lunch break, and with maybe a couple of exceptions I have been able to do that. So, how much would you be willing to pay for a book of short stories? Should it be an e-book? Does anybody really read e-books? If it is an e-book, should I leave out the art?

While you ponder these and other questions, two of my illustrations are http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/deadspread83/sandra and http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/deadspread83/donald, let me know what you think.

ALSO: why not help BoMToons with his awesome Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pestoforce/super-chibi-knight-a-cute-spicy-rpg-adventure

Hey, thanks for the plug!

As for the stories, I think you should def include the illustrations. They add a extra something to know that the author is also the artist.

As for price, I'd say $5-$7 in electronic format, $15-$20 for a printed version (in color).

Thanks Nick! I've shopped around a little and I've found some places I could get them done, so far it looks like Lulu .com looks the best. Also, congrats on the Kickstarter!
