There is still time to put something together for Aegis' COMIC JAM 2, so SUBMIT SOMETHING ALREADY!
I put something together last night for it, and I think it turned out pretty swell.
MY NEW ART.
Also, if anyone is interested, I was interviewed right here on Newgrounds! It was the night before the re-design, so the post got clobbered by re-design critiques, but I was really grateful to have been interviewed, so that was pretty great.
Also, re-design is ridiculously good. The amount of detail in everything is awesome. I really like the notification system. There, now I feel like one of the gang.

Aigis is putting together an art contest, and you should sign up and participate! COMIC JAM2. If you don't do any art yourself, but think you could come up with a story that would be good, there's room for collaboration too, so post in the forum and let people know you're interested! EXCLAMATION!

I put together a bunch of the art I did when I first joined Newgrounds and uploaded it . THE GOOD OLD DAYS. Essentially, most of these are VERY OLD, they were done for contests here on Newgrounds. Going back through it's so interesting to see how many great artists there were for those contests, BomToons (one of my personal favorites), Nobbin Robbin, RenaeNae (of course), Bug, LiftYourSkinnyFists ... and a ton of others. . I miss those contests... they were always disgusting and hilarious.
And also, something new to depress the shit out of you.

Been a while since I updated, so i thought I would do just that. I've been plugging along on the fourth issue of my comic, but I've had a huge case of artistic writer's block. I think I'm through the worst of it. On a brighter note, I designed and built a deck chair for my front porch. Too cold to stain it yet, but here's a picture of the finished product.

So , thanks to Nick (PestoForce) I've got a flash version of my comic uploaded... if it passes judgement that is. Buying something like this online sucks because you can't get your hands on it like you could in a comic store, but this way you can take a look and see if it's something you want to spend your money on. That's the theory anyway.

BUY IT SO BOB DOESN'T HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING AT IT!
So, some of you may know that last week my old imac, which I've had for damn near six years, ate the final shit sandwich and went promptly to the land of wind and ghosts. HOWEVER, after trying all day, I was able to recover my fourth comic from it's angry and busted bowels, so I won't have to re-do several months worth of work. And thank god, because I hadn't even printed a hard copy of what I had so far, so I would essentially just have to start over.
So, back to work on that...I've got about 12 pages done so far, so almost halfway done with it. And with the amount of hours I've been working at the old day job, that's a fucking miracle I can assure you. Good thing my crippling Insomnia doesn't show any signs of stopping, so the time I should be sleeping can be spent finishing issue #4.
In other news, be sure to submit something for THE ROBOT DAY ART CONTEST, I know I will.

My computer has given up the ghost... I am really hoping that my latest comic is still in the hard drive but I won't know until I get it slaved to another mac... So, if you PM me and I don't respond, It's because I still don't have a computer...
UPDATE:
1500 Big ones later and I'm back in business. My parents were kind enough to front me the money, which was exceedingly swell of them. I still don't know if my previous Hard Drive is boned or not, but I should know by tomorrow. Let this be a lesson to back-up your work ON DVD... hard drives, no matter how nice, are fickle and shitty when they are most needed. When I worked for the Newspaper, I used to back up religiously, but I got lazy... LEARN FROM MY STUPIDITY!
